Without a goal, Paid Lens optimises for efficiency by default, which quietly shrinks your account. Setting an explicit goal changes which trade-offs are recommended.
Goal types
- Efficiency goal — hold a target ROAS or CAC while spending as much as possible.
- Volume goal — hit a revenue or pipeline number within an efficiency floor.
- Payback goal — keep CAC payback inside a fixed number of months.
Scope
Goals can be set per workspace, per channel, or per campaign group. The tightest applicable goal wins when they conflict, and the recommendation states which goal it is serving.
